Alyssa Thurmon

Alyssa is in her 8th year as head cheer coach at Coal Ridge High School, where she lead the team to a state title in 2016 and 2018 and 3 second place finishes in 2015, 2017, and 2018. Before coaching cheer at Coal Ridge, Alyssa coached competitive gymnastics for many years.  She has coached at High Kaliber since the opening in July of 2017. Alyssa was a competitive gymnast most of her young life and was a cheerleader in junior high and high school in Eureka, CA.  She has been married to her husband Dustin for 15 years and has 4 children; Savannah (foster daughter) who is 17, Cooper who is 13 years old, Lexi who is 10 years old, and Kolson who is 7. Alyssa is very passionate about children and the sport of cheer and gymnastics. She is extremely excited for the upcoming season and helping these athletes be the best athletes and people they can be.


Dustin Thurmon

Dustin discovered his love for wrestling at Columbine High School where he wrestled all four years.  Along with Eric Whitman, Dustin wanted to create a club wrestling program to bring together all the strong wrestlers of the valley. He wants to create not just a team, but a wrestling family.
